We offer expertly-prepared Mediterranean cuisine with locally-grown produce. We recommend our rice dishes, fish of the day, and our special local ‘Suquet de la Rosa’; which is a delicious fish broth made to a family recipe. We also offer salads, appetisers, meat dishes, tapas and all with an excellent wine list. Guests can also enjoy a house speciality, our grandfather’s own hot brandy ‘Cremat’ and a house speciality- on the terrace, the first drink of the evening, mojitos, caipirinhas and cocktails.
The restaurant is in the beautiful Mediterranean county of the Emporda and on the shores of the Costa Brava, overlooking the beach with a terrace on the promenade, perhaps the most famous in the area. The business dates back to 1912, and has been run since then by the same family, who are now in their fifth generation. Our friendly, family restaurant is without doubt, one of the finest in the town of Calella de Palafrugell.
